When I think of the word "support" I think of someone or something that holds you up, bares some of the weight of life. Financial support to me is a job or type of steady income. Personal support is someone family or loved one to be their when you need help or personal advice. Practical support is something that is I have sometimes from a loved one. I get help around the house -cleaning/cooking and more. Physical support would be my assistant she will help with tasks and other issues that may occur. We can communicate about issues and jobs that may occur throughout the school year and work on the task and complete them.
If I had a disability or was physically impaired I wouldn't be able to get around I would need someone to help transport me. Emotionally I would need someone/loved one to help me cope with the issues at hand. Practical support I would either live with someone else or have someone come into my home to help me clean. I would try to accomplish tasks on my own just for some type of independence. If I had these challenges I would need someone to push me to be independent. I would love the support emotionally, practically, and physically.
