Getting Ready—E stablishing Professional Contacts and Expanding Resources

European Early Childhood Education Research Association (EECERA) http://www.eecera.org/

The British Association for Early Childhood Education http://www.early-education.org.uk/
(Review also these online resources: http://www.early-education.org.uk/search/node/leaflets )

I tired to contact these two organizations. I called but I am awaiting a response/call back so I decided to research information on the global fund for children.

I chose to sign up for a newsletter for Harlem's Kids Zone... I've done mission work in New York and I am very fascinated with New York and helping others. The organization reaches to many children and families-- they serve an entire neighborhood comprehensively and at scale to create a tipping point and definitively shift the culture of the community. (Helpful tips) would be to reach out to an organization that really interest you because it will make you research experience more engaging and beneficial.

  1. Hello Iris,
I had some challenges as well. I was really looking forward to touching basis with someone internationally and in the field of early childhood education. I would like to continue to reach out and connect with someone. The fact that you have done mission work is awesome how exciting.

  2. Iris,
The two organizations you chose seem to be very interesting organizations. I hate you weren't able to contact them. I wonder, though, with this being such a time ago, have you heard anything back from them yet? Just curious to know what they said!
